Recently, Kenya has witnessed a trend among its celebrities who have embarked on ambitious ventures to build luxurious mansions in their rural homes. These opulent residences often stand as testaments to the triumphs of these individuals in their respective fields.

Peter Salasya

As a youthful lawmaker, Peter Salasya has already begun constructing a beautiful home in his native village in Mumias.

The mega house, which is still under construction, will feature modern architecture despite its rural location. Speaking after sharing photos of the project, Salasya urged Kenyans to follow in his footsteps by building a home in their villages, saying that it promotes stability and supports future family plans.

Mulamwah

Mulamwah, whose real name is David Oyando, is a celebrated Kenyan comedian, content creator, and professional nurse. He gained fame in 2019 through his short comedy skits on Instagram and YouTube, often focusing on high school life and daily Kenyan experiences. Outsides being a star, he has heavily invested in his kitale Mansion.

He recently shared updates on his ongoing home construction project in Kitale, which was still incomplete.

He posted images showcasing the current progress alongside the intended architectural design, highlighting the challenges, costs of building a home and even went as far as to praise Khaligraph Jones.

During a previous interview he revealed that building a luxury home in the village is not a walk in the park.

Additionaly He revealed that his mansion has rooms for his three kids, and when he plans to have other kids, there will be enough rooms for all of them. Mulamwah’s mansion also boasts a library, an office, and an editorial room.

MCA Tricky

Francis Munyao popularly knowna as MCA Tricky, is a  Kenyan comedian, radio presenter, and engineer known for his unique “street boy” persona.

He rose to fame through the Churchill Show, where he captivated audiences with storytelling that often drew from his real life. Today as we talk, MCA Tricky has invested in his first goal in life by building a high end house in Machakos. The house project began in September 2022.

He shared the good news with his fans and brought a priest to officiate the ground-breaking process. Judging by photos from the construction site, it is clear the comedian is setting up a gigantic house to call home.
