
Dagoretti South Member of Parliament John Kiarie, famously known as KJ, has been stunned by his daughter’s impressive Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.
In a social media post on January 9, accompanied by a copy of the provisional slip of his daughter’s KCSE results, Kiarie heaped praise on her, saying she is a prayer answered for having attained a good grade in the national exams.
According to the provisional result slip seen by Times Digital Kenya, John Kiarie’s daughter achieved a mean grade of A-.
“𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝! 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝… 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝! 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭. 𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐙𝐈 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐀…!!” John Kiarie said.

In English and Mathematics, she scored straight As, while she secured A- in both Kiswahili and Music, and B+ in Chemistry. In other subjects, Kiarie’s daughter earned B in Christian Religious Education (CRE) and Biology, and B- in History and Government.

John Kiarie’s daughter ranks among the 2025 Form Four students who have earned direct entry grades to pursue further education in universities.
She is also among several children of famous Kenyans who performed well in their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams, including Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, whose daughter, Melissa Khamwenyi, achieved a mean grade of B- from St. Brigid’s High School, Kiminini.
Also, City lawyer Wahome Thuku celebrated his daughter after she attained a KCSE mean grade of B+ from Alliance Girls’ High School.
Following the release of the 2025 KCSE results on January 9, out of 993,226 candidates, 270,715 (27.18%) achieved a mean grade of C+ or higher, qualifying for direct university admission.
