
A cloud of grief has engulfed former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama and his family following the death of his beloved son.
In a statement shared on social media on Thursday the 5th, the former senator announced the heartbreaking loss of his son, Moses Muthama Nduya.
Although he did not reveal the cause of death, Johnson Muthama stated that his son passed away on Wednesday.
“It is with deep sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved son, Moses Muthama Nduya, who passed on yesterday,” Johnson Muthama said.
While describing Moses, the former Machakos senator noted that he was a joyful and diligent young man, expressing his grief that death took him at such a young age.
He concluded by saying that while his family loved him, God loved him more, praying that his soul rests in eternal peace.
“Moses was a joyful and diligent young man, and it is painful that his life was taken so soon. Though our hearts are heavy, we entrust him to God’s loving care. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” he added.

Following the announcement of Moses Muthama’s death, Kenyans flooded social media to mourn with the family of the former senator, with many sending their condolences.
