Although she is one of President William Ruto’s six biological children, Stephanie Ruto has led a low-key lifestyle, unlike her siblings, such as Charlene Ruto and George Ruto.
Since Ruto assumed office as President, his children, especially Charlene and George have been seen on many occasions in public places, but this has not been the case for Stephanie Ruto.
While maintaining a relatively low profile, Stephanie has focused on her education as well as her career. In this segment, Times Digital Kenya provides a comprehensive look at little-known facts about President William Ruto’s “quiet” daughter.
Background
Born to William Samoei Ruto and Rachel Chebet Ruto in the mid-1990s, Stephanie Ruto is the fourth-born of the couple’s six biological children.
Together with her parents and siblings, Stephanie spent her early years in Uasin Gishu County, where the family resided before moving to Nairobi.
Her siblings include Nick Ruto, June Ruto, Charlene Ruto, Cullie Ruto, and George Ruto.
Education
With President William Ruto himself well-educated, he values education for his children, and as such, his daughter Stephanie is a graduate. She earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from Strathmore University in June 2019.
Afterward, she undertook the rigorous 18-month program at the Kenya School of Law to prepare for admission to the Kenyan Bar.

Social life
Those close to her know Stephanie Ruto as calm, intelligent, and humble. Despite being from Kenya’s First Family, she represents the more reserved side of the Ruto family.
Stephanie’s approach contrasts with the nature of her other siblings, as well as the typically public lives of Kenyan political families, emphasizing discretion and personal development over publicity.

Even though she is part of the First Family of Kenya, Stephanie is not often seen with her parents at public or state events, seemingly continuing to prioritize privacy and career development.
