Nicholas Biwott who is very popular among Kenyans served as a lawmaker for around 28 years.
In addition, Biwott served as a minister in the Ministries of Trade, State, Agriculture, Energy, Home Affairs, and Treasury, among other positions.

Biwott who served in the late president Daniel arap Moi 24 year old regime, died while he was 77 years old after a long illness. After passing away, Nicholas Biwott obviously left wealth amounting to billions for his family.

According to The Standard, Nicholas Biwott wealth remained a mystery throughout his lifetime as he never owned a phone leading him to borrow from his allies or even strangers when he urgently needed to do so.
However, as per the report, Nicholas Biwott net worth was around $1 billion.

Biwott had seven children with various women and in his will, he proposed for them to receive a portion of his estate.
Only his children received a piece of the late billionaire’s money; none of the women were named as beneficiaries in his testament.

However, Ms Rita Field-Marsham asked to be removed from the beneficiaries list of her father’s substantial fortune.

One of Biwott’s two daughters, Rita, requested in a disclaimer letter to the court that all of her rights, titles, and interests in the one fourteenth portion that her father’s will had allotted to her be released.
I am named as a beneficiary of a share of the deceased’s estate. I wish to disclaim all my right, title and interest to the share in the deceased’s estate

However, Rita Field Marsham did not reveal the reason for turning down her dad’s multimillion inheritance.
In the will, Biwott stipulated that if any of the intended heirs declined to claim their part, the other members of the family would split it evenly hence it was done according to his desire at the end.
