President William Ruto reshuffled the Kenya Kwanza cabinet on Wednesday 4 where some major changes took place.
The Head of Public Service, Felix Koskei, made the announcement on Wednesday evening with the changes taking place with immediate effect.

The changes in the cabinet has seen some of the cabinet secretaries and Permanent secretaries given other dockets.

Some of the changes that have taken place in the cabinet of Kenya Kwanza
For instance, Moses Kuria has been taken away from his Trade docket and he will now be serving as the cabinet secretary of Public service, performance and Delivery management.

On the other hand, Former Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua will now be the cabinet secretary of Tourism and Wildlife after being moved from his foreign affairs docket.

Also, Isaac Mwaura, a former Nominated Senator seems to be a beneficiary as he has been appointed as the Government spokesperson.
Mwaura was initially appointed by President Ruto to serve as the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary’s Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS).

This is the first time President William Ruto has made some changes in his cabinet since taking over power over a year ago.

Now it’s time for Kenyans to wait and see if the cabinet secretaries appointed to new Ministries will perform better than in their previous dockets.
