In the past two decades, Dr. David Edward Owuor has emerged as one of the most prominent preachers in Kenya, with his ministry extending both within the country and abroad.
Apart from his work in the Ministry of God, Owuor is one of the richest religious leaders in Kenya, living a lavish lifestyle and owning expensive luxury cars.
One of the standout possessions of the self-proclaimed prophet is a high-end private jet, making him among the few, if not the only, religious leaders in the country to own one.
Times Digital Kenya takes a look at the model of the jet and how and when David Owuor acquired it.
David Owuor’s networth and lifestyle
Having started his evangelism in the early 2000s, Prophet Owuor’s Repentance and Holiness Ministry has become one of the most recognizable religious movements in Kenya.
The ministry, which has gained thousands of followers over the years, has seen them become loyal to Owuor, often viewing him as a miracle worker and Prophet of God.
Through his work in the church, Dr. Owuor has amassed massive wealth, as reflected in his flamboyant lifestyle. His ministry is reportedly supported primarily by both local and international donors.
Prophet David Owuor owns a number of cars and is accompanied everywhere he goes by a convoy of vehicles. One of his most expensive cars is a Mercedes S500.
Apart from his cars, he lives in a luxurious home. According to a local news outlet, the man of God once resided in Dove Apartments in Westlands, Nairobi, a property reportedly worth Shs. 1.5 billion.
Private Jet
On top of his other assets, Prophet David Owuor also owns a private jet. In 2024, during one of Owuor’s gospel missions in Brazil, Rosenverg Reis, State Deputy in the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro, gifted the High-End Learjet 45 to the man of God. It was manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace.
According to reports, the jet was given to the preacher to help him travel around the world and spread the ministry of God with ease. Although it was meant to assist him in his global mission, the jet was not given to him permanently.
Features of the Jet
The Learjet 45, popular among the wealthy, features a sleek design, a luxurious interior, excellent fuel efficiency, and outstanding performance capabilities.
The jet has a capacity of nine passengers, ample baggage space, and can fly up to 2,099 miles nonstop. It can also cruise at a speed of 465 mph.

Its price in Kenyan shillings ranges from Sh243 million to Sh487 million.
