A good example is Muhoho Kenyatta, the last-born child of Uhuru Kenyatta, who has chosen a path away from politics, focusing instead on other business ventures, specifically the fashion industry.

Muhoho Kenyatta’s low-key Lifestyle
Although from a family with a rich history in politics, Muhoho chose a different path, one that differs from that of his father, Uhuru Kenyatta, and grandfather, Jomo Kenyatta.
Even during the time when his father served as Kenya’s 4th President for 10 years, Muhoho maintained a low-key lifestyle. In 2017, he accompanied the then-Deputy President William Ruto on a Jubilee campaign tour in Nandi County. The event went viral, with Muhoho appearing uneasy communicating in public.
Critics at the time argued that the last-born son was positioning himself to continue the family legacy in politics.

Muhoho’s Career in the Fashion Industry
Muhoho Kenyatta is the creative force behind Nomadic, a fashion brand he started with his classmates.
“Mo,” as he is popularly referred to by colleagues, developed a strong sense of style and a passion for fashion design.
He debuted in the fashion industry in 2013 at Kenya Fashion Week, held at Villa Rosa Kempinski, where he showcased his Nomadic collections.
At just 17 years old, he presented a collection noted for its creative use of fabrics such as khanga.

He focuses on unisex clothing, emphasizing comfort and unique style. While his mother, former First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, initially expressed skepticism, his designs quickly gained popularity and positive recognition during his debut.
