Dennis Oliech is one of the most famous names among Kenyan football fans. This is simply because the “menace” is with no doubt the greatest footballer ever in Kenya.
Oliech started his football career by playing for Santos football club and later switched to Mathare United.
Years later, Dennis Oliech made his debut for the national team Harambee Stars in 2004 and would retire from the International duties 12 years later, in 2016.

During a past interview, Dennis Oliech disclosed something that many people were unaware of: that he spent KSh 124 million on the care of his late mother, Mary Auma Oliech, and brother, Kevin Opiyo Oliech.
According to the legendary football player, he had to sell part of his assets to pay for their medical expenses, which had a terrible impact on his investment portfolio.
Oliech said during a past interview.“My mother’s hospital bill came to around Sh40 million and we had to pay around Sh84 million for Kevin’s bill. You cannot hold on to an asset and your relatives are ill and need your help…”
