Renowned musician Kelvin Kioko, known by his stage name Bahati, is celebrating after his son Morgan Bahati joined a prestigious National School.
In a social media post on January 18, while sharing photos showcasing Morgan’s journey from childhood to this milestone, Bahati expressed excitement and gave glory to God for making it possible for his son to join Lenana School.
Bahati wished Morgan all the best on his new journey, where he will meet new friends and build his educational foundation.
“How did this boy become taller than me? Looking at the journey and how far God has taken us… We call Him Ebenezer. All the best in school, my son Morgan Bahati,” Bahati said.
This comes just a day after Diana Marua, Bahati’s wife, shared a social media post showing preparations such as shopping and ensuring her son Morgan was neatly shaved before joining school.
Later, together with a family member, they accompanied the young scholar to Lenana School, where he was warmly welcomed by fellow students.
While in the school compound, Diana Marua said she had long prepared for the day and that it felt as though she was the one joining the school on admission day.
“So we are here finally at Lenana School, and you would think that I am the one who is coming to school,” Diana Marua said in the video.
Thereafter, Diana Marua reflected on Morgan’s educational journey, noting that he had worked hard during his primary education at ACK Wote Boarding School. She said that through his dedication, he had secured a place in such a prestigious school and was now reaping the fruits of the efforts he had already planted.
Prior to his admission to Lenana School, Morgan Bahati secured an overall score of 68 out of 72 points in the KJSEA. To reward him, Diana Marua gifted him a brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max.
