His childhood was filled with challenges, as he was born dumbfounded, which brought a lot of pain and worry to his parents.

A local publication reports that during his first month, Njugush couldn’t utter anything, and his mother was forced to pinch him to at least hear his voice.

Later, his parents sought medical attention, and doctors recommended a surgical procedure, which in turn helped him as he had never kept silent up to date.

That’s not all; Njugush continued to face hardships even in primary school as he moved from school to school. Can you imagine that he attended six primary schools? It wasn’t his mistake, but due to the nature of his father’s work as a clergyman.

For instance, he met stumbling blocks in his pursuit to become a famous comedian in the country. This is because when looking for someone to hold his hand, Njugush didn’t get help, forcing him to try even harder for some years.

Despite these challenges, he never gave up and believed that he would make it one day.

“Actually, I knocked on several doors and faced numerous rejections. However, I always believed that one day I would break through,”

he told a local publication in a previous interview.

Luckily, the comedian encountered former Tahidi High Actor Abel Mutua, who was looking for someone to feature in his new show (which he was launching at the time).
