Why Kalonzo and Omar clashed

It all began when a member of the civic society argued that the Kenyan elections were fraudulent during his presentation to the committee.

In an effort to dispel the notion, Omar brought up a persistent issue that has plagued every election with allegations of being rigged out; he appeared to be alluding to former prime minister Raila Odinga.

“I have listened to Omar over time saying one constant factor and another constant factor. I want you to know one of those constant factors has been sitting here with you because as a running mate of Raila in 2013 and 2017. I know you were my secretary general,”  the Wiper leader told Omar.

The seemingly angry Kalonzo Musyoka told Omar that he will never be governor of Mombasa.
