“Apologize to Kenyans” Vocal Rift Valley Politician Tells UDA as Fuel Prices Hit New Heights

Vocal Rift Valley Politician Buzeki Kiprop has now urged the UDA government to apologize to Kenyans over the increased prices of fuel.

This comes moments after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (Epra) increased the prices of Petroleum by Shs5.72 per litre Kerosene by Shs2.45 and also diesel  which rose by shs4.48.

Now, while via his X account, Buzeki has slammed the government for allegedly giving false promises to Kenyans.

Buzeki, who is a harsh critic of the Kenya Kwanza government, further cited that the state has not achieved their desired goals of reducing excessive taxation. 

Buzeki said that the government doesn’t have to explain anything further as their strategy has failed. 

In addition, the former Uasin Gishu governor candidate asked the UDA regime to ask for forgiveness from Kenyans.

“The UDA government PLEDGED to lower fuel prices by reducing EXCESSIVE overlapping TAXATION and implementing the G2G magic. However, their efforts have not yielded the desired results. They should JUST APOLOGIZE to KENYANs for the failed STRATEGY. No need for explanations, it’s now CLEAR !! An apology  in a church  will suffice. mbele ni kuzuri” Buzeki’s post reads

The new fuel prices in Kenya

A litre of super petrol would have increased by Sh8.79 , a liter of diesel Sh16.12, and a litre of kerosene Sh12.05  without the subsidy.
