Senator Cherargei Reacts as Chaos Disrupted Raila’s Rally [VIDEO]


 

Hours after the Azimio la Umoja rally in Turkana ended prematurely, Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has now reacted. 

This is as Raila Odinga was denied a chance to speak at the event.

Supporters of Raila began chanting that he ought to be permitted to address the crowd as a result of this.

It was at this moment, they got into a clash with Jeremiah Lomorukai’s supporters at the gathering.

In order to secure the area for the evacuation of the Azimio leader, police personnel had to guard the dias where Odinga was seated alongside other opposition leaders.

Odinga claimed that local authorities led by Turkana Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai were responsible for the pandemonium, calling it the pinnacle of political intolerance that ought to be denounced by all parties.

Raila Odinga was attending the cultural festivals in the north Rift county. 

Cherargei’s reaction to the issue 

Now vocal Senator Cherargei has seemingly been impressed by how Raila and his Azimio brigade were treated in Turkana. 

He says that Azimio la umoja authority is only on social media but in real sense they have no support in the ‘ground’.
