Edwin Sifuna is a vocal politician under the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party and the current Senator of Nairobi County.
Sifuna, compared to many politicians in Kenya, has chosen to keep his wife away from the limelight and the only time they were together in public was in 2022 after he clinched the Senatorial seat while receiving a certificate from IEBC.

Who is Edwin Sifuna’s Wife and how did they meet?
According to trusted sources, Sifuna never had a chance to date while on campus because he used to spend most of his time either in class or partying with friends but that did not hinder him from marrying Didi Wamukoya, his former classmate in 2010 even though she had turned down his advances while at the university.
Edwin Sifuna and Didi became husband and wife in 2015 when he officially paid her dowry. They have since been blessed with a beautiful daughter.
According to Sifuna, his wife is more educated than he is, and he never argues with her. In addition to her advanced education, Sifuna says she was brought up in Loresho, where her father was a Member of Parliament, which helped shape who she is today.
“She’s more educated than me. I respect her a lot and don’t argue with her. Her upbringing in Loresho, where her father was an MP, shaped her,” he shared.
Didi is the daughter of the late Joseph Wamukoya, a powerful politician who served as an assistant minister in the Ministry of Lands & settlement in President Moi’s regime. Joseph Wamukoya also served as the MP of Matungu Constituency between 1997 and 2002.

Didi Wamukoya is a lawyer of the High Court of Kenya having been appointed to the counsel in 2007. She was accredited with a law degree and an environment degree from the University of Nairobi.
Didi is also a trained investigator with various law enforcement agencies in the field of wildlife crime.

She’s been with Kenya’s Wildlife Service for seven years as head of prosecution. Didi is the director of wildlife law enforcement in Africa for the African Wildlife Foundation.
