President William Ruto’s Personal Assistant, Farouk Kibet, has warmed hearts after gifting his former nursery school teacher a new home in a touching show of gratitude years after leaving her classroom.

In a social media post on February 19, after handing Madam Christine Koech a new home in Chebarus Village, Ngenyilel Ward, Turbo, Kibet described her as someone who instilled good moral values and laid a strong foundation that has guided him to date.

In addition, Farouk Kibet said that the home was a way to show gratitude to his childhood teacher for the sacrifices and love she showed him and other pupils while they were in kindergarten.

“In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, today I had the honour of gifting my nursery school teacher, Madam Christine Koech, a new home in Chebarus Village, Ngenyilel Ward, Turbo.

Madam Christine laid the foundation of my character, instilled strong moral values in me, and played a key role in shaping the person I am today. This was my small way of saying thank you for her dedication, love, and sacrifice over the years,” Farouk Kibet said on his Facebook page.

As per the photos seen by Times Digital Kenya on Farouk Kibet’s Facebook page, he gifted Christine Koech a beautiful house painted white on the outside and fully furnished inside. This is in contrast to the earlier mud house where Madam Christine Koech previously lived.

In the statement, Kibet went on to describe the moment, noting that it became even more emotional as villagers gathered in large numbers to witness the occasion and appreciate his effort to give back.

To officially hand over the house to his former nursery school teacher, Farouk presented her with the keys in the presence of family members, friends, and neighbours. A pastor also led prayers during the occasion.
