A young Gen Z boy, Kinyanjui, stole the show at a church event after breaking down with a special request for President William Ruto.
While attending the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Kenya service in Nairobi on Sunday, October 12, President Ruto encountered the young man and his mother during his address to the congregants.

In an emotional moment, the Gen Z boy approached Ruto at the podium, hugged him, and delivered a heartfelt message. The boy could be heard tearfully pleading with the Head of State to help his mother.

“Please help my mother,” Kinyanjui said.
While responding, President Ruto promised to speak with the boy’s mother later and make plans to assist her. In addition, the Head of State praised the woman for raising her son well and urged other parents to follow in her footsteps.
“Tutaketi chini na mama ya Huyu Kijana nimpange (We will sit down with this boy’s mother and make plans for her). I’m also a parent and I want to thank you (mother to the Gen Z Boy) for bringing up this young man. He is a great event example of what other people should be.” Ruto said
