Nairobi, Kenya, August 16, 2024, The long-awaited new English Premier League season is finally back.
Many football fans in Kenya will be eager to get all the action in comfort. As a result, Guinness, in collaboration with the Premier League, will ensure that fans from Kenya experience the PL kickoff in style.
This weekend, Guinness, the official beer of the Premier League, will be hosting a two-day live football experience in The Black Pearl Lounge, Kisumu County. In addition, the football fans will enjoy an epic matchday with an ice-cold Guinness drink.
To bring a breath of fresh air among the football fans in Kenya, the Guinness truck left the Kenya Breweries depot on Friday morning. The truck made its way through five counties to Kisumu City, where the Guinness Matchday will be hosted. Upon arrival, the Guinness truck made the rounds in Kisumu, with football fans and Guinness consumers given a chance to interact with it. It later left for Kampala, Uganda, and is expected to return to the lakeside city on Sunday during Guinness Matchday 2.
The Guinness Matchday Committee, media personality Carol Radul (Director of Drinks Analysis), Nana Owiti (Chief Snacks Officer), and Lotan Salapei, the Chief Entertainment Officer, are now back in action to work with Guinness to create a great matchday experience for the fans at Black Pearl Lounge, Kisumu County. Football fans should expect to catch all the Premier League action at the Black Pearl Lounge, thanks to Guinness.
The first Guinness Matchday this weekend, will be an early kickoff on Saturday between Ipswich and Liverpool. Thereafter, fans will have a chance to watch matches throughout the day. On Sunday, fans will enjoy matches of Brentford vs. Crystal Palace and the ‘big’ match of the day between Chelsea and the champions Manchester City.
All these Premier League games will be aired on HD screens with the crispest audio. Additionally, the football fans from the lakeside will have a chance to win great prizes by showcasing their football knowledge. All in all, there will be plenty of entertainment and delicious snacks paired with ice-cold Guinness.
