Prophet Victor Kanyari has given a sum of money to Marion Naipei, the woman at the centre of a recent viral video.
In a social media post on January 21, after a church service at the Salvation Healing Ministry in Nairobi, Kanyari stated that although the world might be against Marion, she deserves a second chance.
On top of that, the man of God gave KSh 50,000 to the lady to uplift her as she goes through a tough moment. He also prayed for her, noting that Jesus came for sinners.

“When the world is against you, churches should be there for you, for we all know that Jesus came for the sinners… 50k for you,” Kanyari said.
The city prophet said that although she will be judged for her actions, he promised to stand by and support her. He also told her to feel free to approach him whenever she needs support.
“Many will judge you, but I promise to stand with you and support you. The journey has just started. Never feel any shame coming to me; the doors are always open for you,” Kanyari added.

This comes days after Pastor Kanyari, during a church service, asked Marion to attend his church so that he could help her in one way or another.
Kanyari is not the only public figure who has reached out to Marion Naipei, as others, including Nairobi County government official Geoffrey Mosiria, have also stepped in to help her seek justice for what James Opande, the man allegedly behind the camera, put her through in the past few days.
The government, through the Ministry of Gender, Culture, and Children Services, also defended Naipei, condemning the person who recorded her in a vulnerable state.
The Cabinet Secretary of the ministry, Hanna Wendot Cheptumo, said the act might be against her dignity and privacy under the Constitution.
Marion Naipei defends herself
Following the leak of her videos, the mother of one faced heavy criticism across social media, with reports indicating that it also caused friction at her home after the video reached her father through third parties.
In an interview with content creator Tumbili, Marion, 23, explained her relationship with Opande, whom she met on the dating application Tinder in April 2025.
She also defended how she was dressed in the viral video, stating that her outfit was appropriate for the setting and only appeared shorter than it was due to her movement and physique.
