Rashid Abdallah
Just like his wife, Rashid Abdallah is among the top earners at Citizen TV. However he gets a slightly higher salary than his wife. Rashid reportedly earns Shs 550,000 per month.

The two lovebirds are the co-founders of Jiffy Pictures. This company was founded with a task to produce Swahili telenovelas. Some of the most famous films produced by Jiffy Pictures include Maria, Neema, Becky, Zora, and Zari, just to name a few. According to Lulu, her husband is the brainchild of the most successful shows produced by the company.

Lulu
Lulu Hassan kickstarted her media career as an English radio host at Radio Salaam in 2008. After several years, she broke into television thanks to a cameraman who connected her to KTN. She was lucky because two Swahili anchors were going on maternity leave, thus KTN needed urgent replacements. It was until she moved to Royal Media Station’s Citizen TV that she became a household name in Kenya.

While at Citizen TV, Lulu Hassan hosted Nipashe Wikendi (one of the most famous Swahili news segments in the country). Up to date, she is highly rated in her role to present news in Swahili with eloquence and consistency.
Rashid Abdallah
On the other hand, Rashid ventured into the media industry in 2006. His first job was at Radio Salama. Radio Salama. At the show, he was tasked with hosting a talk show that focused on challenges that affected people in the society. After several years, Rashid Abdallah moved to Nation Media Group, where he worked as a sports host at QFM and QTV. He was then moved to NTV as a Swahili news journalist.

In 2018, he was paired with his wife, Lulu Hassan, co-host of Nipashe Wikendi. He replaced Kanze Dena after she was employed at the State House by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
