Hailing from the famous Ntutu family, the wife of the late Member of Parliament Johanna Ngeno was, on several occasions, seen alongside her husband when he was still alive.
Like her late husband, she is a lawyer, but she is not active in politics. In addition, some of her other siblings are involved in politics. Here, Times Digital Kenya takes a closer look at the details of Ngeno’s young widow.
The late Johanna Ngeno’s wife
Ngeno was married to Nayianoi Ntutu Ngeno, a fellow lawyer, and the couple was blessed with two lovely daughters. They tied the knot in a high-profile wedding on August 18, 2018, at Emurua Dikirr Secondary School in Narok County.
The wedding ceremony was attended by high-profile guests, including President William Ruto, who was then Deputy President, as well as the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Just a few days before his death, Johanna Ngeno and his wife celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary, marking nearly a decade of marriage. They celebrated together with their children, unaware that it would be his last public moment with his young family.
Close friends describe Nayianoi Ntutu as a supportive and devoted spouse, consistently maintaining a low public profile throughout her husband’s political career.
Beyond being married to a politician, Nayianoi hails from the famous Ntutu family, which is influential in Kenya’s political arena.
The young widow is the daughter of Livingstone Ole Ntutu, a stepbrother to former Narok senator Stephen Ntutu and Patrick Ntutu, the governor of Narok County.
Her brother, Kitilai Ole Ntutu, is also a politician and currently serves as the Narok South Member of Parliament.

Kitilai was among other leaders, including lawmakers and President William Ruto, who visited her at their Karen home, Nairobi, to offer condolences following the death of Johanna Ngeno.
