Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi attended an event set to help families that were affected by a fire incident just recently. The vocal lawmaker was accompanied by a number of politicians from across the country, including Didmus Barasa, Erick Wamumbi, Governor Stephen Sang, Governor Hillary Barchok, Jonathan Chelilim Bii, and Governor Wisley Rotich, just to name a few.

In the course of the event, all the leaders, including Oscar Sudi, embraced the need to support restoring the livelihoods of the affected members.

“In solidarity with traders and residents of Moi’s Bridge, we joined community members, leaders, and partners to unite in recovery efforts for the loss affected by the recent fire incident. The resilient spirit of the community shone as we collaborated to support rebuilding initiatives and restoring livelihoods.” Oscar Sudi on Facebook
A warm reception
As per the photos shared by Oscar Sudi, the residents of Moi’s Bridge turned up in huge numbers at the Sunday event. This was a clear indication that the Kapseret MP is quite popular in the region. As such, the politician stamped authority for President William Ruto’s support in the area.

Also during the event, the outspoken member of parliament didn’t shy away from telling off former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Sudi urged the embattled ex-DP to keep off lecturing President William Ruto.
“It is such a shame that some leaders have chosen to get tangled in petty politics. We should be racing against the clock to deliver services to Mwananchi.” Sudi noted
This comes as the two former allies (Ruto and Gachagua) have condemned each other in the past few weeks.

Oscar Sudi, a foot soldier of President Ruto, has been at the forefront to defend the head of state. On Sunday, it was not different as the 3-term MP took every opportunity to praise Ruto while throwing shade at Rigathi Gachagua.
