In his speech, Riggy G slammed the government of President Ruto, claiming that the administration is yet to deliver its promises to the Mt. Kenya region. Additionally, Gachagua took a swipe at his former boss, citing that he deceived him together with the whole community.

Therefore, Gachagua promised never to trust not only Ruto but any other politician who doesn’t have a written agreement. He further revealed that he will address the nation on Sunday, February 8, 2025, and give a report on the information he has gathered from the people.

Gachagua’s reception by the Murang’a residents
In accordance with a video on his social media, the second deputy president of Kenya was received by a large number of Murang’a people. This is as Gachagua seeks to stamp authority in a region that Ruto enjoyed huge support in in the 2022 elections.

Both sides are eager to show how their public events are attracting bigger crowds; hence, Rigathi Gachagua’s huge reception sends a clear message about his growing popularity in the Mt. Kenya region.
