While posting on her social media accounts, Charlene was emotional as she described her intentions to help and elevate youths across the country.

“They tell me that I should develop a tough skin but the more I visit the young people spread across my country, the more tears I shed, the more disturbed and concerned I am… at the levels of poverty, the harsh climatic conditions they learn in, and unfit cultural practices such as forced marriages, teenage pregnancies, and FGM that they have to fight… daily….” Charlene Ruto says in her emotional tweet.
Charlene was elated with the courage of over 500 students who went to listen to her even without a tree as a shade.

In collaboration with Smachs organization, the daughter of President William Ruto has promised to create live and green places where students from the region can engage and share ideas in the near future.
