“This is the lady who took me out of boyhood. She is a doctor, and she’s the one with whom we grew up together,” he said as he introduced his first wife.

Oburu Odinga further introduced his second wife, Judith Oburu, saying he brought her to assist his first wife, Anna Oburu. He mentioned that she is an accountant by profession. With her experience in accounting, Judith works at the NSSF, where she applies her knowledge in the field.

“And I thought, at my age, I don’t want her to scratch me or massage me. So I brought my helper, Judith Oburu. She works with NSSF and is an accountant by profession,” Oburu hilariously said while introducing his second wife.

The audience went wild when Oburu raised Judith’s hand in the air, briefly transforming the somber mood at Nyayo Stadium into one of warmth and humor, a reflection of the Odinga family’s enduring spirit even in mourning.

While Oburu is of advanced age, he still keeps his family strong with his first wife, the mother of his children, and his younger wife, who is more of a helper to him and the family.
