Nominated member of parliament Sabina Chege has always been surrounded by controversies be it in politics or even her private life.
Mostly, her relationship and marriage status has been causing debate over time. The former woman representative of Murang’a County has been linked of having relationships with some notable Kenyans. For instance, Chege was alleged to be dating late musician, John De’Mathew.

The MP worked in the radio and film industries before joining politics.
She worked as an actor in the film industry and as a radio host in the radio industry. Sabina worked for Coro radio, Kameme FM, and KBC where she later became the head of financial services.

Now, Sabina Chege’s husband is the former Kenya Dairy Board acting manager, Mr Maina Gathito.
During a past interview, the vocal politician revealed that she has been happily married to Gathito who had another wife. So this makes Sabina Chege second wife to Maina.

Sabina and Gathito Maina have one Kid together, making the former a mother of three as she had two other kids in her previous relationship.

Just after Maina married Sabina in a traditional wedding, his first wife Wanjiku accused the former Murang’a woman representative for snatching her husband.
According to reports, the family of Wanjiku even accused Maina Gathito of having more attention on Sabina’s family than them.
