Sky Victor 254, Betty Bayo’s daughter, has delivered an emotional speech about her late mother.

While speaking during the late gospel musician’s memorial service on Sunday 16th at the Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) in Kiambu, Sky, overwhelmed by emotions, described her mother as not only her biggest inspiration but also her biggest cheerleader.
Sky, 13, revealed that her mother was her biggest fan and motivation, and that she was the reason she joined social media at such a tender age.

The teenage daughter of the late Betty Bayo went on to say that her mother always found a way to give her hope even during tough moments, thus making her more resilient.
“Today, I stand before you with a heavy heart, but also with a heart full of love and gratitude for the incredible woman we are here to honor my mother, Betty Bayo. Mom, you were more than just a mother to me; you were my rock, my confidante, and my biggest cheerleader. You taught me the value of faith, the importance of kindness, and the power of resilience.” Sky said.
Additionally, Sky celebrated her mother’s legacy in the music industry, noting that her spirit will live on through her songs. She vowed to continue the legacy her mother left behind. Sky concluded by describing Betty Bayo as her hero and wished her soul rest in eternal peace.

“Though you are no longer with us in person, your spirit lives on in every song you sang, in every life you touched, and in the love you left behind. I promise to carry your legacy forward, to be the person you always believed I could be, and to make you proud. Rest in peace, Mom. You will always be my hero, and I will forever cherish the memories we made. I love you, and I miss you more than words can express. Thank you,” Sky Victor 254 added.

Sky was joined by her younger brother, Danny, and Betty Bayo’s husband, Hiram Gitau, alias Tash. Also present at the event was Pastor Victor Kanyari, the late gospel musician’s ex-husband, as well as a section of gospel musicians and political leaders including Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi and Former Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege.
