Tausi is one of the most popular TV drama series to have ever aired on Kenyan television.
The vintage drama series, which ran for almost five years from 1995 to 2000 on KBC, brought together several TV stars who have now ventured into different career paths.
Now, in this segment, Times Digital Kenya explores one of the main characters of the famous Tausi TV series, Ken Ambani, aka Baraza.

Who played Baraza in Tausi ?
This happened to be Ken Ambani, who has thrived in the acting industry for over two decades. It was Tausi that helped Ken Ambani, aka Baraza, become very popular across the country.
However, the TV drama came to an end after just five years, in 2000, after which Baraza from Tausi appeared in several films.
Some of the local series in which he was featured include Wingu la Moto, Shuga II, Makutano Junction, and Cobra Squad, among others.

Apart from his acting career, Baraza from Tausi is a family man. According to the local news outlet Tuko, Ambani has had two wives over the years.
He was first married to his first wife, with whom he lived for several years before she passed away. They were blessed with one daughter.

Years later, Ken Ambani entered a relationship with his second wife, and they had two children together. However, their relationship did not last long, as they eventually separated.
Ken Ambani is blessed with three children namely, Anita, Abby, Jordan and Chelsea.
Baraza of Tausi years after leaving the classical TV series
Just recently, Baraza from Tausi was appointed as a County Executive Committee (CEC) member in Mombasa by Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir.

However, despite taking on a role outside of acting in Mombasa County, Ken Ambani insisted that he will continue to appear in films from time to time.
